Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon onion, minced
  • 1.5 cups whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon coarsely chopped fresh parsley

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375 *F
  2. Place flour in shallow dish.
  3. Sprinkle chicken with salt then coat with flour.
  4. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in large skillet over medium heat until hot.
  5. Add chicken; cook, turning once until golden, 2-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove chicken and place in 13 by 9 baking dish.
  7. Heat remaining olive oil in same skillet over medium hot until hot. Add onion and garlic; cook until fragrant and onion is tender, 1-2 minutes.
  8. Increase heat to medium high and add whipping cream, pepper and Parmesan.
  9. Cook until sauce is bubbly and slightly thickens, 2-3 minutes.
  10. Spoon over chicken in the dish.
  11. Bake chicken until an instant read thermometer reads 180 *F; 8-12 minutes.
  12. Sprinkle with parsley.
  13. Enjoy!
