Ingredients

  • 1 jar Baby Dill Pickles
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1- 1/2 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • OIL FOR FRYING
  • Dip:
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Preparation

  1. Preheat oil in deep fryer to 375ºF.
  2. Drain and rinse pickles, cut into quarters lengthwise and pat dry.
  3. Lightly mix eggs in small bowl with fork, until frothy
  4. Combine breadcrumbs and seasonings in separate bowl.
  5. Dip each pickle stick in egg, then in breadcrumb mixture. Fry in small batches, 45 – 60 seconds, until golden brown and crispy. For a thicker coating, dip in egg, then breadcrumbs, then egg and breadcrumbs again.
  6. Cook as directed.
  7. Serve with dip.
  8. Dip: Combine ingredients in small bowl
