Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked/mashed Garbanzo beans (chick peas)
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 cup whole wheat bread crumbs (I toast high fiber wheat bread made by Safeway O (Organics brand)
  • 1/3 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 T wheat germ
  • 1 cup ground nuts (cashews are great in this)
  • 3 T vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 3 T chopped fresh Parsley or 1 T dry
  • 2 beaten eggs
