What kid doesn't love pizza? My son has actually never HAD the traditional cheesy pizza we all know and love since he has food allergies to dairy and wheat (and egg and nuts). However, he loves our homemade gluten-free and vegan pizza, as does our whole family! The main ingredients are Bob's Red Mill Gluten-free crust, Daiya mozzarella cheese and a jar of any allergy-safe pasta sauce. Then my son likes to help me top it all off with a bunch of healthy veggies. It's easy and tasty - a great combination.
Bob's Red Mill gluten-free pizza crust
Daiya mozzarella cheese
1/2 jar pasta sauce - your favorite
Pinch of basil
Pinch of oregano
Toppings: Whatever you prefer! We usually add a bunch of veggies on top like fresh spinach, cherry tomatoes and mushrooms. My husband prefers pepperoni or sausage, but the great thing about pizza is that you can top it with whatever you and your family likes!
