Most kids like miniature versions of things and these cute little bite-size burgers are no exception. We made these little Turkey Burgers for the kids and they were a huge success. So if you're having a summer birthday party, or even a cookout with kids present, try these little mini burgers.
Combine all ingredients and shape into tiny patties, about 1 ½ to 2 inches in diameter.
Cook little burgers over medium heat in a skillet, lightly browning on each side, about 3 minutes per side.
Test to make sure the center is completely cooked.
If baking in oven, approximate cooking time is 20 minutes. (test with a meat thermometer, as temp should register 165 degrees)
Using a small round cookie cutter, or small glass or lid, cut out rounds from bread. se crusts to make the tops of your little rolls. dd lettuce, slices of cherry tomato and rounds of cheese to turkey burgers, holding everything together with a toothpick.
