Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°
  2. Melt the Butter in the microwave, and allow to cool while you prepare the sugary concoction.
  3. In a shallow dish or bowl, mix together your Powdered Sugar and Cornstarch.
  4. With your mixer, mix together the melted Butter, Cake Mix and Eggs.
  5. Slowly add in your Red Food Coloring, 5 drops at a time until you get your desired color.
  6. Form your cookies into 1 tablespoon sized balls {don't make them any bigger, trust me}
  7. Roll each ball in your palms to get them just right, then roll them in your Powdered Sugar mix, coating them well.
  8. Arrange your cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  9. Bake for 9 minutes, remove from oven, even if they look raw, they harden up after a few minutes out, and leave a chewy-like texture.
  10. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for one minute, then move to cooling rack.
