Pizza Wing Casserole
- love Italian flavors and good way to get my children to eat turkey.
Ingredients
- 1 pkg Turkey Wings thawed
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 onion diced
- 1 bell pepper diced
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 celery sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1 jar pasta sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 cup red wine(opt)

Preparation
- place turkey wings into Ziploc bag and put in salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and garlic powder;
- shake until coated and put in fridge overnight or for 3 hours.
- take wings out of fridge and let set at room temp for 20 minutes.
- while wings are coming to room temp; turn on slow cooker on low, put tsp of olive oil into bottom
- and put in onions, bell pepper, garlic, mushrooms, celery, and carrots; cover let cook for 20 minutes.
- put wings into cooker and cover with pasta sauce and add in sugar, parsley, and wine.
- cover, and let cook on slow for 6 hours.
- serve over cooked pasta and grate parmesan cheese on top.
