• This Popper Dip recipe makes for an easy treat that is both tasty and satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened (reduced fat ok)
  • 1 cup mayo (Use the real thing please no reduced or fat free)
  • 1 (4 oz) can chopped green chilies, drained
  • 2 ounces of diced jalapeno peppers, drained (I could not find a 2 ounce but Ortega makes a 4 ounce)
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1⁄2 cup Italian bread crumbs

Preparation

  • Stir together cream cheese, mayo and 1⁄2 cup of the parmesan cheese until smooth. Stir in green chilies and jalapeno peppers. Pour mixture into a casserole dish. Mix together the rest of the parmesan cheese and bread crumbs and sprinkle over the top of the casserole . Heat in oven at 400 for about 15-20 minutes or microwave for a few minutes.
