Ingredients

  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 8 tbsp butter, melted
  • Filling:
  • 1 8oz package of cream cheese
  • 1 15oz can of pumpkin
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 TBS butter, melted
  • 1 16oz box of powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350 *F
  2. Combine all of the cake ingredients and mix well with mixer
  3. Pat mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 13x9 baking pan
  4. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese & pumpkin until smooth. Add the eggs, vanilla, and butter & beat together. Add the powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and mix well. Spread pumpkin mixture over cake batter and bake for 40 to 50 minutes. Make sure not to over bake as the center should be a little gooey.
  5. Serve with whipped cream
