• Ingredients:
  • 1 pkg (Link) Turkey Sausage
  • 1/2 box Whole Grain Penne Pasta
  • 1 container Grape Tomatoes
  • 1 bag frozen Chopped Broccoli
  • 1 bag of Shredded Cheddar/Mozzarella
  • Before starting the meal, take your turkey sausage and cut both links into circular pieces. Take circular pieces and cut them into fourths. Then take grape tomatoes and cut them into halves.
  • In a pan, bring your penne pasta to a steady boil. Before penne is completely cooked add your chopped broccoli and at least 1/2 cup of water. Turn the temperature down to medium and let it boil slowly. While penne and broccoli are cooking, take your cut turkey sausage and grape tomatoes and put them in a separate pan and turn on medium temperature. Stir lightly while they are cooking, you do not want to over stir and mash up your tomatoes. Once penne and broccoli are finished simmering, drain off the water, but keep at least 1 cup to add back to the mixture. Once drained, add 1 cup of drained broccoli water back to pan or pot with your pasta and broccoli. Then add your cut up tomatoes and turkey sausage to the mixture. Lightly stir together and let it heat through on medium temperature for a few minutes.
  • Spoon mixture onto your plate and lightly sprinkle with your shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese. This is one of my families favorite meals. I hope you enjoy it.
