Dice 6 -8 pieces of bacon. Place into pan and render fat, browning bacon. Remove browned bacon pieces and most of fat…keep about 1 tblsp fat in pan. Add 1 lb ground beef, 1 diced onion and 2-3 cloves of garlic (diced). Add salt and pepper to taste. Brown burger. Use about 1/4 cup of dry red wine to deglaze the pan. Once the wine has cooked out, add fire-roasted diced tomatoes and a pinch of Italian Seasoning. Simmer.
Meanwhile cook spaghetti. Mix spaghetti, meat sauce and some torn fresh basil. Place into a baking dish. Sprinkle with mozzerella cheese and parm cheese. Sprinkle cooked bacon over the cheese.
Bake at 350 for about 10-15 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is melted.
