• A mouthwatering Tammy's Favorite Potato Salad recipe that you and your family can enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 4-5 lbs. potatoes (red are best)
  • Cook 12 oz. bacon and crush to crumbs.
  • Cook on MEDIUM heat for 10 min. until thick: (must be 10 min. to fully cook egg)
  • 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt 2 Tbl. corn starch 2 beaten eggs

Preparation

  1. Pour thickened sauce over potatoes, add 1 tsp. yellow mustard, 3 Tbl. mayonnaise.
  2. Optional: 1/2 c. chopped celery 1/2 c. chopped onion (I usually put the onion)
  3. It is to be served warm, can't make too far in advance. Is good after being refrigerated, but if I eat left overs, I usually warm it in the microwave. Enjoy! It's yummy yummy! I never bring home leftovers!
