• I don’t know about you, but I simply cannot have enough safety dishes when it comes to summer time barbeques. There are just so many variables each time I host! How many people? Will there be kiddies? (typically at my house that is a given) Is it a specific holiday or celebration? Since Fourth of July kind of entails all the above, I think that it is mighty important to have another staple on the list other than the famous hot dogs and hamburger duo. Don’t get me wrong now, I absolutely adore those classic cook-out comforts. However, I think a really easy & tasty chicken dish is a super addition to include in the festivities. My “Tangy Honey Mustard Drum Sticks” are a budget friendly, no-fuss dish that is just a complete pleasure to prepare. Marinade them up all day long, plop them on the BBQ and then watch them fall right off the bone…so freaking good!

Ingredients

  • •3-4 lbs. chicken drumsticks (about 10 pieces)
  • • ½ cup Dijon mustard (flavored Dijon are great too!)
  • • 2 tablespoon stone ground mustard (I like the contrast of the two mustard’s)
  • • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • • ½ cup good honey
  • • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • •Chives for garnish
  • •Kosher Salt & Pepper to taste
