• This Three Cheese Chicken Penne Pasta Bake recipe makes for an easy treat that is both tasty and satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 Cups Penne Pasta, uncooked
  • 1 pkg (9oz) fresh spinach leaves - use it all I thought it would be too much and only used half. I wished I used it all.
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 tsp dried basil leaves
  • 1 jar (14-1/2 oz) spaghetti sauce - I used prego
  • 1 can (14-1/2 oz) diced tomatoes, drained - I used Del Monte basil, garlic & oregano. Don't forget to drain!!!
  • 2oz (1/4 of 8oz pkg) philadelphia cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup Kraft Mozzarella Cheese, divided
  • 2 Tbsp Kraft Grated Parmesan Cheese

Preparation

  1. Heat oven to 375, cook pasta, adding spinach to boiling water for last 1 minute.
  2. Cook and stir chicken and basil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat until chicken is cooked. Add sauce and diced tomatoes(drained); bring to boil and stir in the cream cheese. Simmer 3 minutes ( I did mine abit longer just to make sure the chicken was cooked and all the flavors mixed well).
  3. Drain pasta mixture; stir in chicken mixture and 1/2 cup mozzarella.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes, sprinkle with remaining cheeses - mozzarella and parmesan and bake for 3 minutes.
