Ingredients

  • 1 tin of Tomato & Bacon Soup (plain tomato soup will do fine)
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • Elbow Macaroni
  • 1/2 can of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • approx. 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Grated cheddar cheese

Preparation

  1. Boil some water and get your pasta on the boil.
  2. Heat a fry pan on a low to medium heat.
  3. Melt the butter and add the diced onion and cook until translucent. (if you are adding diced bacon, add this in with the onion to cook at the same time).
  4. Add the flour to the frypan and mix. Don't allow it to burn.
  5. Empty can of soup into frypan and mix.
  6. Half fill the empty soup tin with milk and empty this in the frypan as well.
  7. Mix everything really well.
  8. Once mixed add a good handful of grated cheddar cheese.
  9. Mix in cooked pasta.
  10. Empty in an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with some more grated cheese.
  11. Place in the oven to melt the cheese on top.
  12. This is also a very easy recipe to double for a larger family, or for left overs for lunch the following day.
