Ingredients

  • 3 medium cans tomatoe sauce
  • 1 large can diced tomatoes
  • 1 small can tomatoe paste
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1/4 bellpepper, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely diced
  • 1 tbs ground flax seed (for nutrient value, not flavor)
  • Add the following to obtain your desired taste:
  • Garlic salt
  • Garlic powder
  • Pepper
  • Onion salt
  • 3-4 bay leaves

Preparation

  1. Oregano
  2. Italian seasoning
  3. In large sauce pot, lightly saute onions, garlic and bell pepper.
  4. Add tomatoe sauce, diced tomatoes and tomatoe paste.
  5. Add seasonings.
  6. Bring to boil.
  7. Reduce heat and let simmer for 1 hour.
  8. If desired, add additional seasonings to get the sauce to your desired flavor.
  9. Pour over cooked angel hair pasta and serve.
