  • Green onion spread
  • 3 oz cream cheese, soft
  • 1 scallion, sliced
  • 3 leaves basil, chopped
  • Pinch of horseradish
  • Cracked pepper to taste

  • 2 spinach, tomato or chili flour tortilla wrappers
  • 4 slices of turkey
  • 2 slices of ham
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 roasted red pepper
  • Method of Preparation
  • Place all ingredients in a small food processor and blend until smooth. This can be served with crackers as a spread. You can also add some vinegar and water to make a vegetable dip. One roll will make ten to twelve slices.
  • Lightly toast the tortilla wrappers first.
  • Spread half the green onion spread on each of the two wrappers. Layer one slice of each over the green onion spread in the following order: cheese, turkey, ham, turkey, and the last layer of cheese. Garnish the center with julienne roasted peppers.
  • Roll the wrappers like a burrito or sushi rolls so that the different layers form a jelly roll appearance. Wrap with plastic and allow the rolls to rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Slice the pinwheels into 10 - 12 slices each. Lay on a platter and chill until needed.
