• This White Chocolate Bread Pudding recipe makes for an easy treat that is both tasty and satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 quart half & half
  • 3/4 lb brown sugar
  • splash of vanilla
  • 8 eggs

Preparation

  1. loaf of any kind of bread (i use french bread)
  2. tear off pieces of bread and put in casserole dish
  3. mix eggs and half &half in bowl, add brown sugar & splash
  4. vanilla. Pour over bread.
  5. Bake @ 350 degrees for about an hour, rotate the dish
  6. throughout the cooking time.
  7. Topping:
  8. melt some white chocolate into a syrup and drizzle over
  9. each serving sprinkle a few morsels over top.
  10. After you get used to making this dessert you can start experimenting with different breads or toppings. I like to make Krispy Creme Bread Pudding. I use donuts instead of my bread and use a krispy creme like donut glaze as my topping. you can even cut a hole out of the center of each serving to make your presentation a little cooler.
