You better keep an eye on your homeschool and Christian curriculum. I had heard about BiLogos previously but now they've stepped the "battle" up a notch.

Exactly Lee, that reminds me of Thomas Edison too, his teachers thought he was retarded, so his mom had to homeschool him.

Geez - how do they ever expect us to help a child grow to their own individual potential, if the keep interfering? I think, in general, children need to be taught the basics of (reading, writing, and arithmetic), but we also need to find their strengths early on to help them fine tune their abilities. Look at Einstein for one example- where would we be without him? His teachers, in public school, thought he was a failure according to 'government regs' and the traditional way in which they taught. Teachers need to quit teaching to the test and actually start looking for the strengths and gifts each child has to help build our community and world stronger.

Of course, they need to regulate the homeschool curriculum too......*sarcasm*. This is what disturbs me, why can't they let the free market decide what parents want to teach their kids.
