Okay this is so much garbage it's unbelievable. They can only show this to kids because they're the only ones who won't see through this. Of course that's the unfortunate part that they want to get while they're young. If this is actually being shown somewhere I have to believe that the majority of the kids are not going to follow it and will be bored out of their minds. I can't even spend the whole 12 minutes watching it, my five year old wants to play webkinz and I have to go to the store to get stuff.

Yea, that's crazy. I buy Charmin because it's so soft. I hate it when you blow your nose and your toilet paper can't even withstand that. My sisters use the cheap stuff and I hate it. What are they going to have us do next?

LOL... It is actually recycled paper made into toilet paper. It is the thought of using 1-ply and less of it. They won't be saving anything if it is only 1-ply we'll just use more. =)

I would rather wipe my butt with the newspaper since that is what recycled tp feels like. =P

Brenda- you have to realize that most people have been brainwashed into thinking "Environmentalist" know what they are talking about. "THEY" are smarting than us common folk. The Heritage Foundation posted a funny article yesterday. The environmentalist are pissed off at Quilted Northern for making a 3-ply toilet paper. They want us using recycled toilet paper. I laughed my rear off on a comment that was posted. This is close to verbatim... "If we have to use recycled toilet paper, we'll be sure to get a piece of a** every time". Hope this cheers you up! =)

I'm bewildered. I sent the link out to my family/friends email list and some of the responses I have been getting back are very, worrisome.

She basically said she had watched it 2 years ago with her kids and found it very informative. She says its good for kids to know where all the stuff goes when we throw it away. Her husband has worked for Wal-mart for years and told her about the amount of waste in the system. She told me she doesn't think this video is harmful, just educational.

I wrote her back and this is what I said:

I think it would be more educational if the facts were correct. I see it as an attempt to mislead our children and take advantage of their inexperience in life because of their young age.

I believe in conservativism, within reason. I recycle twice as much as my neighbors, we have an energy star home, We try to conserve water/electricity etc. But these facts in this video are just wrong.

It seems that I am losing friends left and right lately...=(
