Why the &*@$%& are you still campaigning????

Obama doesn't know how to lead. The only thing he's good at is campaigning. And he's showing that now. His constant fearmongering against Republicans is ridiculous! And watching bits of his first press conference from this past Monday was like watching him during the campaign.

I know the networks aren't too happy about his discussion plans -- because of his planned addresses to be aired on two consecutive Mondays, a Tuesday, plus his first State of the Union, he's taking money away from the networks in ad revenue.

But watching him speak, I feel like the election is still going on.

I just joined this group because I am so upset about what 's going on in Washington DC!  Someone needs to remind the Dems that the Republicans in Congress were also elected by the people of their states and they "won" too.  They have just as much right to represent the people that elected them as the Dems!  If the 3 Republicans hadn't betrayed their party we wouldn't have had this huge disaster of a bail-out bill.

I couldn't have said it better myself!! I'm so sick of hearing how it was a bipartisian effort.  No, no it wasn't, just because 3 republicans caved does not make it bipartisian.  Someone should tell him and his administration that bipartisian doesn't mean Republicans bend over.  Also of course the MSM keeps saying how the bill passed with no votes in the house, yet they fail to mention that 7 democrats in the house also voted no.  What does that tell you??  When the house is supposed to be the most polarized or congress and yet 7 democrats voted with the republicans.  I can't stand the MSM misrepresentation on reality.  No wonder why conservatives out there think they are all alone!

Obama needs to keep the excitement going that HE WON and how momentous and historical that is. If he doesn't do that he might actually lose some of his support! The more the "Disenfranchised" of this country have stars in their eyes, the less they'll actually see.

Lol I watched it too on the History Channel, and seen how classy Laura Bush is. She has restored the rooms in the White house to how they were originally, then I got thinking about the Obama's in there, and remember hearing that Michelle Obama is spending a bunch of money redoing the white house, it just makes me sick. The Obamas have no class at all.

I am sure they'll call it stimulating the economy because it is creating jobs.

"I won"  I would like to smack him off his high horse.  I usually dont say things like that...... But this guy tends to bring those sort of things out of me and im sure some of you too.

I cant watch the guy, I see evil in his eyes.  He doesn't fool anyone, well the people who aren't blind.  Although I notice that people I knew who were pro-obama aren't saying much these days, they must be embarrassed.

The stimulus plan does nothing for the long run, the only thing its doing is spending our country into a depression.  I collect social security disability, and the 250 dollar payment it says that people who collect social security are going to get is only a bandaid, it isn't going to help me down the line.

Hugs and God Bless to all of you wonderful ladies :)

I am so happy to find voices of reasons!

Check out Herman Cain: T*H*E New Voice...

The voice of “we the people” has been hijacked by partisan politics, government bureaucrats, and the influence of money on elections and legislation. To take back our government, we must be able to un-elect ...

has anyone read through the stimulus plan? it revokes the welfare act of 1996, and now states will actually get MORE MONEY if they have more people sign up. it's crazy!! and how are some of these temporary jobs going to help in the long run? i'm not loving this..not loving this at all...

I can't believe people say that it was an amazing address. Are you kidding me?? He was stammering and um and uh and he was yammering on!! Please, it was the first chink in that armour that he really has no clue as to what he's doing.

He is SUCH an egotistical idiot, and ITA that it sounded like I was listening to a campaign instead of an address. I get SO mad listening to him talk and it didn't help any that I was missing House because of his "campaigning". Oh well I guess on a positive note I think people are really starting to realize his lack of leadership ability...now if only 2013 will get here a little faster!

To me Obama is a wolf in sheeps clothing, luckily I can see through it unlike alot of the country. I am just stumped that there are so many people who can't form their own independent opinions, and rely on the media to do that.

It's crazy how he has to have a press conference trying to convince the American people that there is no pork in his stimulus, when he has all the democratic seats to pass it without the Republicans. He just wants the republicans to take the blame for it if it fails, which it will. I am just scared to see how America is going to end up when his term is up.

i, too, thought i was going to gag when i saw his speech on tv. i couldn't watch too much of it, though, it really bothers me. i was really hoping that he'd come out of the gate and prove me wrong about all the things i'd heard...i'm not fairly certain that's not going to happen. for the sake of our country, i hope he does well. but it's not looking good so far, is it? :(

I hope the republicans can hold together and keep America as America and not the next USSR. Obama may be able to fool the media and the rest of the liberals in this country, but not me. I think it's ridiculus that some one from another country can see right through him, but people in America were blinded by his charisma and lying. (P.S. authorities are predicting a terrorist attack with in the next 5 years. They say it won't happen this year because Bush was in charge of the budget and made sure our defense was taken care of. But they expect Obama to reduce defense funding, which will put us at risk for another attack.)

He's a Rock Star!!!! Did anyone see his address to the Dem's at the Resort Spa getaway (shown only of FOX)??? He was excited he got to use Air Force One???? Rham Emanuel teaches profanity to under priviledged kids at least once a week???? And then in Florida....he is giving away houses, kitchens, cars and jobs??? I thought that was Oprah's gig. God Help Us!

Lori, you took the words right out of my mouth - I actually just came here to post the very same thoughts!  Why was he out stumping about the stimulus package?  WE weren't voting on it.  He did it because, like you've said, it's the only thing he knows how to do.  All I'll add is that I think Obama is also very quick to temper;  he definitely can't handle the hard questions or criticism without getting nasty.

Hello - I am new to the group and loving the fact that there are others with my feelings.  The media basically choose our president for us.  Hopefully the voters wake up and elect some republicans in two years.  We need to balance the power sooner then later.  I pray we don't have another 9/11 or worse.  I also hope one day we will be the great country we use to be.  I love America, but not sure I like the road we are on now.

lol I agree, it's like he keeps having to remind himself that he won.  Yeah i can't believe you won either obama.

He isn't a leader, he was brought up in the democrat party to be a puppet.  They gave him the stage at the dnc and they figured out hey this guy can read a teleprompter great, lets run him in the next presidental election.  And they did, and people bought into his fake bs.

I am still amazed how the media just ignored everything bad about this guy.  I would have been fine with any other democrat winning the election.  I get power shifts between the parties and the gop can't always be in control but this man is friends with a terrorist.  HELLO we're at war with terrorism.  The media didn't even look into his past.

He's already messed up so many times and they still ignore it.  I just keep telling myself it took a carter to get a Reagan and that it will all turn out okay in the end when the republicans get to fix everything he did.  Hopefully there will still be an America to fix.

"I won" - how infantile is that?  How egotistical!  This man is definitely letting power go to his head...and beyond!    Very scary -

I agree with you though.  He does NOT know how to lead.  The only thing he can do is say things that some people (I'm not one) think are totally eloquent *gag*.  His halting speech patterns just indicate that he doesn't even really know what his own thought processes are.  I hope the Sh** hits that fan for him...and quick before he screws things up so much it will take years to recover.
