I am in my second year of Respiratory therapy school, in Washington. And it seems like there is so much misinformation out there about the H1N1 flu vaccine. From my clinical experience, I have gathered that even people without predisposing illnesses are having complications with the H1N1 flu. So I don't see why people would want to take the chance with their children not being vaccinated. I have already recieved my vaccine for H1N1 and I plan on getting my 3 year old vaccinated as soon as it is available. I know that it is manufactured the same way as the seasonal flu vaccine, but people still seem to think that the government is playing "guinnea pig" with them. Does anyone have any insight into this topic?
