Hi there! I'm a first time mom, and my son is not old enough to rodeo with, but I'm hoping one day he will! His daddy an dI team rope, I barrel race and pole bend, and I start colts. I would love to hear from some other moms involved in the rodeo world, and how you all juggle rodeos with kids, if you kids compete, how you keep them interested without putting a ton of pressure on them, what you enjoy about the lifestyle! Looking forward to hearing from everyone!

Hi! My son isn't old enough, but my 2 year old is old enough for the playday events. She loves leadline classes on my barrel horse, whom she calls Bugabuga. Your should hear her fight to go and 'feed the hosses'.

I also barrel race, but my husband doesn't ride much. So when Haley starts getting sour to riding in the classes, she goes off to her play area and we pull her from the other classes (if any are left). During the day she goes to day care, and my mom watches the boy so that gives me time to work Bugs and work any colts I have. I loove running, any my family is super supportive. So when the time comes for me to show, It may take some work, but I show.
