In 1997 I had part of my R temporal lobe and complete R hippocampus removed due to peti mal seizures that were non responsive to meds. My seizures are from a closed head injury I sustained in a 1989 auto accident. I was seizure free for years then after the birth of my 1st child (now four) I started having trouble speaking at times. I thought it was due to lack of sleep but I also started having aura's too. With my peti mal seizures, I have a smell/taste related to them. Has anyone experienced this? Or has anyone experience deja vu during/before a seizure? I'm fearful that I can have a grand mal.
