"May the luck of the Irish be with ye!" I love St. Patrick's day! It's just so cute with rainbows, pots of gold and little irish men!!! lol I have a few ideas of what I might do with my daughters (who are now almost 3 and my twins just turned 1!).
For starters, I'm thinking of having my 3 year old go on a leprechaun hunt! I'll cut out gold coins and 4 leaf clovers with clues on them or activities that lead to the next clue. (Like, tiptoe to the place where you get your cheese, since I keep string cheese handy in the fridge for her, she should get this, maybe with help!) The last clue will lead her to a pot of gold. I have a halloween cauldron that I think I'll fill with chocolate coins and green trickets.
I also think I might make leprechauns with all 3 girls. Trace their hands on orange construction paper with fingers mostly together, then make a face with hat to look like a leprechaun in other construction paper, then glue it all together with the hand cutout as the beard!
Do any of you have any other ideas? What about any St. Patrick's Day traditions? I know in some areas you can get pinched if you're not wearing green!!!
