My almost 6 year old, started Kindergarten this fall. He was in playschool the last 2 years. He goes to Kindergarten 2 full days a week, and alternate fridays. I knew that he would likely have some sleep issues once everything got back into full swing, as the littlest thing disrupts his sleep usually. This is bad though, he's up 4-5 times a night for no apparent reason, we've kept the same bedtime routine, the same bedtime (730pm), all that has changed is that we are busy busy during the days.

What the heck do I do to get him to sleep without waking us up all through the night? We don't coddle him when he gets up, we don't even take him back to bed, we just say "hunter go back to bed" and he goes.

Your input would be greatly appreciated. THX in advance!

Karly is right you can get medican that helps him sleep though the night, I went in for my son cause of him having a new reutine once school started as well and she wanted to put him on sleeping pills but I asked if there was something that we could give him that was all natural and that wouldnt be habit forming. And she told me about Melatonin which you can buy right in with your vit. I give him 1 pill an hr before bed. and he is out at 7pm. The ones I use are 300mcg. I hope this helps you just a bit more.
