Any other moms too worn out to be the kind of mother you want to be/feel guilty about the amount of tv-watching in your home?

I was against TV when my first son was born. We didn't even have cable, I had memberships to museums, the zoo, the pumpkin patch, state parks. He was an easygoing baby and toddler so spending hours wandering aimlessly around Target or the mall was relaxing. We were almost never home during the day! Then my husband and I split up, I struggled for years to get on my feet, went through a depression I wasnt even fully aware of at the time, and finally met my current partner with whom I had two more children only 14 months apart and they have been ROUGH. Much more demanding and fussy than my oldest, I don't sleep, there were weeks where I barely found time to eat, plus money has been tighter than I ever imagined. My oldest has fallen by the wayside and watches way too much tv and frankly, I'm too tired and drained to do anything about it but I know it's going to be bad for him in the longrun. He's exceptionally bright and well spoken but these stupid shows could easily change that over time. I know there are going to be a lot of nasty "you're the parent, just say no!" responses and I fully get that, but I guess more than advice I'm looking for moms who know how I feel and no the frustration of feeling guilty that you're doing all the wrong things but you're too exhausted and rundown to do the right thing.
