Im sure this is situation other moms have had to deal with so would really apprciate your experience and help.

The other day my 10 yr old son walked in on me undressing. Id just gone into the bathroom to take a shower after playing in the paddling pool with my daughter when he came running in. Luckily id only just started getting out of my swimsuit so i only had my top half uncovered when he came in. He apologised straight away and kept saying sorry. I could tell he was upset so i casually grabbed a towel and covered up not wanting to make a big deal out of it. He came up to me again that evening to say sorry and got quite upsset again. I just said to him it wasnt a big deal and tried to make a joke of it by saying he'd seen it all before anway. I thought that was the end of it but now things are really awkward with him. To me honestly it wasnt a big deal its only a pair of boobs.lol

How do you think i should deal with this. Would like to hear if the same things happened to other moms.

My son did something similiar and said "wow". I quickly shut the door and later told him he should always knock before opening a door. Stuff happens!

Don't bring it up, but if he does, just say, "no big deal" as much as you need to and quickly move on to another subject. Or if he must talk about it, just tell him just knock next time, things happen, etc. Eventually he will be back to his normal self. Or maybe he didn't really realize what boobs were really like and he's confused. He is nearing the pre-teen years.

i would just leave it where you left it. he's growing up, & it probably made him uncomfortable, but if you don't mention it anymore, he'll get over it in a few days.

My son is 10 and he seems to suddenly be much more uncomfortable with my nudity too. Guess they're growing up!

Just make a joke out of it and leave it at that. At the moment he is mortified. Embarassement is enough for him without talking about it with you. Don't worry he'll get over it.

Just let it go and chalk it up to nothing really. It is probably not as awkward as it seems. It probably grossed him out more than anything. It will be fine! :)
