Hi there my 5 year old son has always been a very strong minded child, to which i have no problem with, He has always enjoyed nursery and now school.
But recently we are having a lot of problems with him at school he has become Irratable, fidgety, frustrated, and violent, to his teacher and class mates.
He is not following there instuctions or the rules of the school, myself and muy husband have been called in to the school four times in five days each time it ending with my son being sent home from school.
The last time i went there he was in the process of destroying the head teachers office he ripped posters from walls emptyed a fileing tray tipped chairs and was just screaming at the teacher i was completly gob smacked, i had never seen anything like it in his rage it was like he was not there his eyes were distant and finaly when he did calm down it was only for me he would not talk or co-operate with the head teacher,
Today we were called again and he was being restrained on the floor by to staff to stop him from hurting himself and any one else, he had already scratched and pinched another teaching assistant i have taken him to our gp, who said to monitor him for 10 days we are 8 days in today i rang for another appointment because i am truely worried for his safety from himself so have an appointment with them tomorow but they didnt seem interested or concerned last time. He needs some help how do i get it for him, how do i make them listen,
Any help advice or simlar sittuations would be great thanks everyone sorry if i rammbled on.
