I think you should search online under "fun Easter ideas for older kids"! My daughter is 10, but she still likes to dye eggs and all that stuff Lol!

Give them a movie, chocolate candies, sports-related, or beach-related. My kids still like to dye eggs. So my boys are 9, 11, 13.. Im sure they would like to have maybe shorts, swimsuits, and baseball. Sort of like think in christmas but for spring.

This year is a lil rough (financially). I've been torn for a while because both of my older kids are in softball and baseball. (8 and 11) They both need ball gear, so they are getting it all in their baskets. Killing 2 birds with one stone.

i have an 8 and 3 year old, i stopped buying them easter eggs because they get too many from other family members. Instead i will buy them clothes, hair stuff or for the 17 year old you gave vouchers i am sure they would love that hope this helps.

Only the easter bunny gives choc in our house. We used to always get a CD when we were older kids. I've started that with my kids already (3 & 6), they love it. Keeps everyones present the same despite age, but can be age specific at the same time.

At this age it is always nice to do a family related thing because life is so busy with all activities otherwise... how about make a family day where everyone goes to the theater to watch a movie and just spend a funfilled day together!! This is what my kids like and they are right around the same age!

I would give them candy. I bet they would be sad if they stopped getting a basket, even if they say they are too old for it. Everyone loves chocolate.

If they've outgrown easter baskets (but how can you outgrow chocolate?!?! I'm 36 and I haven't outgrown chocolate!), why do you need to give them anything? I don't get it. Is Easter a gift-giving occasion now, like Christmas?

Sorry if I sound obtuse. Maybe I just don't get it. I'm Jewish, married to a non-religious non-Jewish guy, and we do an Easter basket for DD (she gets a basket and then has to hunt around the apartment for the chocolate eggs and stuff that DH hides) -- that's what his parents did when he was a kid. If at some point she decides she's too old for that, that will be it, we're not going to start buying her "Easter presents" like it's the second coming of Christmas (pun intended, sorry ;^).)

My daughter is 4 and my boys are 11, 13. All the kids usually get a new swim suit and something pool or beach related. My daughter gets chalk, bubbles and they all still get some candy.

Candy or stuffed animals never hurt! lol. My daughter is 9 and is in to zhu zhu pets. Right now they have special Easter Zhu zhu pets that have rabbit ears, ect. As for the teenagers, I would maybe look in to cd's, ipods, gift cards.

My kids are 8,5, and 1, and we have always given clothes or movies. My kids don't really believe in the whole Easter Bunny thing so I guess it was easy for us not to do the traditional basket. Good Luck!

I always liked getting books, but once I hit my teen years my mom would hand me a creme egg and say happy easter.
