Hi again I did find you other post. It's in the recipe swap community (that community is a bit slow, you can ask for recipe ideas in any of your communities)

Your post was about what easy recipes can you make for your boys ages 7 and 8.

I know my kids love peanut butter and jelly but I like to jazz it up a bit (as long as they aren't allergic this recipe would be good) I take a slice of bread and roll it out flat with a rolling pin spread the peanut butter on it then spread the jelly right on top of the peanut butter I then roll it up and slice it into 4 pieces. My kids will usually eat about 8 of these and that is a serving size (8 pieces) I serve with some fruit and a glass of milk (strawberry is my kids favorite).

Another recipe is fondue (just a can of spagetti sauce the one that say is a full serving of veggies is a good one to use) you can buy frozen chicken nuggets or make homemade ones with some chuncks of chicken and bread them with a mixture of flour and seasonings (like pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder add some parmasan cheese to the flour mix too yum) put into oven and bake. they can dip these into the spagetti sauce..

A great dessert to make all you need is a box chocolate cake (devil's food works great for this) instead of adding egg and oil to the mix add a small can of pumpkin and the amout of water the box says blend and bake according to box directions frost and eat.. The kids will never know they are getting a veggie in this cake and you can feel good about the dessert you gave your children. I sometimes leave them unfrosted and serve them as a snack.

I hope some of this helps

I didn't see your questions... I'll see if I can find it and give you some advice... Sometimes the questions get lost with the new conversations that people post, I know I join a couple of communities so that way if you post your question in a few of your commuities you might get a better reponse.. This site is actully a great site to meet people and get ideas and share advice I suggest you give it another try. Good Luck
