I am the mother of four boys who all love their sports. Between hockey, baseball and swimming I am just all over the place. I really need a better way to manage all of the obligations that come with their lives.

Bad luck Trish! It's annoying when you get taken for granted! I'm always delighted to help people if they ask nicely but as soon as they expect it - grrrrrr.

Google calendar with each person of the family having their own calendars has worked best for me. The appts are color-coded based on the calendar so I can see at a glance who has what and if anything is going to overlap so Dad can step up. Works for me and it's free.

I totally hear ya Jakki. I usually try and plan with other families to partake with car pooling activities.
Sometimes I get stuck with the responsibility more times than not tho, only because people think of me as the "stay at home mom" hey its not my fault me and my husband decided to have 4 kids, heck it would be really unfair if I wasnt the stay at home mother!

To make life easier with my 3 kids and all the activities I talk to parents in the same groups as my kids and get rosters happening for driving the kids here and there. eg you have 2-3 families taking turns in taking all the kids to the activity and dropping them back home. These last few months we would not have coped otherwise with just one car and lots of simultaneous stuff on. Life is so much easier with a bit of cooperation.

Thanks allot Stephanie! I checked out Mybievo.com and it seems like a really helpful tool. I like how it sync's all my calendars together and really helps to simplify things.
Do you use it with your kids?

Mybievo.com has saved me some serious headaches. Its only 20 bucks and it manages all of my families schedules for me and it even automatically adds them to my blackberry, but my husband has an iphone and it works for that to. you should reqally think about checking it out.
