I have problem with my son who is in 7th grade for the not completing homework and he ended getting B instead of A. We have spoke with him many times about completing homework. I am out of ideas how to make him realize. I tried to all different kinds of punishments an still not working. Any ideas will be welcomed. Please help ladies.

Thanks ladies!

It has been going really good now since I took his time playing Xbox and TV....he has not missed any home work since.

I am also checking his assignment list online everyday and his classwork, and also commnicate with his teachers.

He had issues with his Language Art and Reading class not doing his homework, but I feel like his is on right track.

He is very smart(IQ 135))...his past report card shows that he got all good scores, but 0% on lots of assignments. His teachers were so disappointed as we were...they are telling me that is he is their "A" student. We bought him a bigger binder, so he can better organize his materials too.

What does he value? Take that away from him until he proves that he is responsible with his homework to have it back.

For my daughter it was soccer and her ipod. Boy, did she change fast.

Is he not doing it, or is he so disorganized he is not turning it in or loses it before he finishes it? It makes a difference. Please let me know. I'll help if I can.
