When my boys were younger, I would offer up a reward for getting their homework done quickly and cooperatively. I found that something as simple as gummy worms or a small handful of m&m's could really save the afternoon ;) If you don't want to use snacks, I am sure you could substitute something else as a reward. I don't let my kids have a ton of candy, so the sweets option worked for me. Good luck!!!

My daughter has ADHD and we have a chart that lists everything that needs done. Homework is included on this chart and the rewards are easy. She has things like Pick what we have for dinner, have ice cream for dessert, have a 1/2 hour of WII time. It has worked wonders!!

I would start a reward chart....like every 5 stars he gets he can pick something out at the doller store or whatever he likes . I don't like to reward a child with candy I like to reward a child with a prize or something to show them that they did a good job...good luck and I hope this helps!!
