OK Moms, You're almost always here when I need you! My son is in Cub Scouts with a friend from our old neighborhood. The pack meets at a local church and isn't affiliated with any one school. He joined as soon as age requirements allowed (not school grade requirements). Now, the pack located at his Catholic school/our church is recruiting boys for their pack. He has voiced wanting to try the pack at school. We're going to check it out, but if we find we're better suited for the pack at school, how should I go about breaking the news to his current pack leaders?

Just be honest with them. Thank them for everything they've done, and don't worry about it.

I would tell them just what you said in the last bit- it is better for him. They should understand. And if they don't- changing is definitely the right move.
