Many of us are sick of getting the blame for our children playing the GTA games that contain extreme violence...please go to youtube type in GTA Prostitutes how do you kill yours....the first video on the list is by a man named brian limond( a scottish man)....he clearly demonstrates how evil the game can be towards women , we are worried about the effect this will have on our children...if you too are as outraged as we were when watching the video, please join the facebook group Grand Truth Auto, i for one and sick of being complacent, and show your support even if you just join and share...together WE CAN do this .!!!!!

The whole idea of banning may seem to be a bit far fetched in the eyes of them who are doing well with the monitoring of their children....wonder how the same people would feel if one of the "crazies" took what they had learnt from the game and re-inacted it on one of their family....something that has happened already..

Many parents have no idea what the game consists of and yes that is all about negligence on their part, i dont allow my kids anywhere near that game and never have, but when they are of an independant age how am i meant to maintain my vigilence,He told me how he played it on the school bus on a hand held console..children are naturally curious.
The biggest joke is all them who are buying the game at present are simply providing Rockstar Games and Take Two Productions the means they needs to get themselves out of trouble as the exectutive side of all this is at war with each other and desperately trying to get themselves out of debt... so nice for you gamers out there to bail them out this way..

Fact is we are living in a dirty world and doing nothing about it, some role models we are, we have the power to change legislation and when people want to do this they always come up against oppostition and very little support..

The main purpose here is to get this out of the public domain just as we do with gambling and poker, its everywhere oh yeah and as for your age limit....yeah right, i am no freak but i was always up in things i shouldnt have been when i was underage, if only the word underage was effective, but back then the things i could sytumble upon were not so damaging to me mentally or training me to use and abuse women and inosent bystanders..

As an adult what kind of fun do you get from playing a game that enables you to kill and maim and plunder and screw until your heart is full. It's no longer cartoonish as it used to be instead for entertainment you can shoot an innocent bystander, and see his face contort in agony. He'll clutch at the wound and begin to stagger
away, desperately seeking safety..i just dont get it..!!

It would be great if we could ban whatever we deemed to be inappropriate or gross in our opinions, but like another poster suggested, ratings and advisories are clearly written on all packages and if not followed properlly, obvious consequences apply. What should be banned are ignorant parents who ignore those warnings who's children are turning into crazies. Not the video game producers and creators. As for it being a violent and belittling game towards woman? In what planet do we live on that woman aren't being subjectified daily by just about every mean possible? Can we ban t.v., movies, music and everything else too while we're at it?.. that'd be great.. I'd love to see us go back to a time of horse and buggy.
It's not just video games.. it's t.v., movies, clothing, music, personal grooming products, food!, .. you name it. In some way, you'll find a woman that's been targeted either sexually or degradingly for it and can we ban that?.. nope.

:After reading the other new posts since i posted my last comment, well banning it Most certainly not that wouldn't be realistic and yes good parenting in these cases is vital but come on i am sure there are kids under the age playing it.It was my own personal opinion that crap like this shouldn't be made as i don't have any interest in violent video games etc.i don't expect any one else to have to have the same view as me..you cant possible ban this sort of stuff great if you could.

I don't believe the GTA series should be banned at all. The mature rating is very clearly labelled on the packaging, so parents should take note of that. I've watched friends of mine play GTA and yes, it is violent, yes, there are hookers and drugs but it's an adult amusement. We cannot ban things just because we don't like them (though admittedly I like this one). Where would our freedoms be?

i think what shes saying is there's no place for these games in the first place which i think she is dead right in saying.Any crap like this should be banned.Whether or not your kids play it.:)i don't know how there even allowed to make this stuff. That's just my opinion, but theres a market for it and it is clearly labled over 18s.
