Depends on circumstances. Is it a family 'norm'? Does mom mind? Is there another restroom in the home that can be used?

Is it while mom is in the bath/shower?

We've got 2 bathrooms, but only one with a shower, and that's my 'kids' bathroom. If I am in there showering, and my 16 yo or 19 yo need to pee, then they can come in. Ain't like I'm flashing my kids, because I'm in the shower.

I think that it partially depends on the circumstances.
my mom has always had a very open door policy with her other 3 kids. She is comfortable being nude around her kids and they are comfortable with it as well.
She likes to take long baths. When you're in a household with only one bathroom, that can cause some complications. So, even from when the kids were little, if they had to go, they went. If the phone rang, they would bring it in to her. It never has been and still isn't an issue, just an everyday thing in their lives.
I should mention that at his point, the kids are 19 (female), 16 (male) and 13 (male).
