i have a six year old that still doesn't sleep very well in his room or bed. he wakes up some time during the night and comes to are room or his big brothers room and sleeps. what can i do to get him to sleep in his own room?????? we've tried putting them together but then all they do is talk and fight. please help. it's getting old.

My daughter is 7...she still awakes most nights...always have. I try and play soft music in background. She seems to sleep alot better and later in the morning with it.

try to find out the reason for the bad dreams, something new in his life, stange noises, fears of some thing in the room. check out the room with him every night before bed, give him a flashlight to sleep with. talk with him about what the problems are, and also how it effects everyone of what he is doing. good luck
