My daughter is 5 years old and we have had an ongoing problem for over a year now. We just bought her a big girl bed and she still won't stay in it. She says she's scared but she never cries. She ends up in our bedroom every night I ended up putting her toddler mattress on the floor so we can at least have our bed to ourselves. Any body have any ideas to get her to stay in her bed all night. I have already tried rewarding her if she does it and she still won't. PLEASE HELP very sleepy mommy

Holly, I've noticed that you tell EVERYONE that you have a method for EVERYTHING...and yet you will not respond to questions, you will not state what your method is, which really indicates to me that it is probably abusive, and most likely illegal.

If you have a VALID, NON ABUSIVE, AND LEGAL method to share, please share it so everyone can see, and possibly be helped. If not...well, I'd have to say I'd be a little concerned about a person who claims to be the "perfect parent" and have a solution for EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN...

Have you put up a side rail on the bed? That would help her feel more contained I think. My daughter has a big body pillow in her bed that lays next to her. At first it was to keep her from rolling out of bed, but now she just hugs it. I think the key here is to find a way to make her bed more attractive than yours. Does she need pillows, a new blanket, or something to make her more comfortable? Does she need a night light? You could also try one of those bed tents. I don't know if you know what I'm talking about, but it's a little tent that you can set up over their bed, then they sleep in it. I had one when I was a kid, and I loved it.
You could also just take the opposite approach and refuse to let her sleep in your room. Move her back to her bed every time she comes in. It will be hard at first, and I'm sure you'll lose sleep, but you just keep sticking with it until she finally gives up and just sleeps in her bed.
