I am currently taking Cryselle (low Ovral) for birth control. I think it is making my hair thin. Anyone have any suggestions on a different type of birth control and a good product for thinning hair? Any help would be much appreciated.

I have been on almost everything. The pill, the patch, Nuva ring, and the best is what I have now. It is called Implonon. It is an implant resembling a match stick. It is inserted just beneath the skin on the inner side of your bicep. I have not had any negative side effects. It lasts for 3 years and I'm already into my replacements first year. It is undetectable and you don't feel a things. Even when they replace it.

It is the best and I recommend it for all women who are able to do hormonal birth control. Mirina was a second runner up. But that one is contingent on being 100% only one partner. Even though I am single and am not sexually active there is no guaranteeing that I may not have relations with more than one man in 3 years. They said that DEATH was an occurrence if you contracted the simplest STD. SO I was very clear head when choosing Implonon :)
