I have 3 boys 11 &1/2 , 8 and 6 and so far no changes in my oldest puberty wise but I am wondering at what time do the voice changes and others things start occuring? I ask my husband and all he says is "I dont remember" which is not much help. :) Any help from your experiences would be greatly appreciated.

My son was 15 before his voice changed. He got hair under his arms and legs at 12. He started to care more about his hygenie then. Some boys take long than others. My doctor said that it has alot to do with diet. The way they eat is why they began to change. Dont worry he is on his own track.

My 12 and a half year old son started about a year ago. Over the last year, he shot up about 9 inches, eats 3 plates of spaghetti at dinner and now has the man voice including more arm pit hair than my husband and a nice little mustache. My younger brother was almost 16 before anything started and still at 22, he still acts like a kid. It really can go anywhere from 8 years old to 20 years old according to the doctor that I talked to about this. It's wierd when it happens and makes you feel old so let him be a little boy for a minute because with the hair and voice comes the attitude, believe me, you don't want that.
