I had my daughter at 21 and my body just got put out of wack. I have stretch marks all over. There isnt a place where there isnt one. I feel as if I am the only one. Is there anyone out there experiencing the same thing? An how do you feel sexy? I do work out, but all the places that arent lose are the only ones that tone up. It is frustrating.

I'd like to add that using the cream daily and before your skin is dry helps the process faster. we'll never fully get rid of them. and no offense but surgery just takes away proof that we woman are miracle makers.

Shelby- Well girl, it seems you have the most ligitimate story as far as stretch marks. I am there with you, I have only one and it looks like I have 5 kids. Thank you for the input, I just feel alone. Not to mention I am no longer with tha "Baby-Daddy" so its a lil harder to be free around my current boyfriend. N e ways, thank you ladies. I didn't expect any kind of response.

Stephanie- Congrats girly.. Ur going to be a mama again. I would like another child minus the extra weight and scars I could potentially get.. Jus keep up the good work.

Crystal- I am considering tummy tuck also. A soon as I have another child and graduate college. I will be able to afford one. Now, I couldn't even begin to think of a tummy tuck. Waaay to expensive.. We are warriors, war scars is what it seems that alot of us have. LOL... We are sexy in the eye of the beholder.. My boyfriend is GOD sent, he does accepts me for what I am and have.. Again thank u gor your input. I love hearing stories from other woman..

I mean I also have some of the little "normal" ones and everything that have turned to that lighter color and everything too, but really there is nothing that can be done about them other than fading over time...If I had saved the THOUSANDS (literally)that I have spent on creams, lotion, potions, etc to remove, cover, repair stretch marks... I could afford the only true method of removal... Painful laser surgery.

yeah, I never really recovered. :) I had twins at 20, and earned large tiger stripes all over my middle and plenty of others on the rest of me. They've faded from purpley-red to silvery purple over time.
I used to belong to a gym, after the girls were born. I managed to do a lot with the tummy sludge, but it'll never be what it was. but since then, and another child later, I figured it was pretty much a lost cause. :) I'm preg. again, and I am hoping to do better this time around. I'm walking every day. so we'll see.

Well, what i have to say isn't going to give you a lot of help, as far as the loose skin, I don't know what to say...I have had 5, been having kids since I was 16 had my last one 3 years ago, and in 3 more years. I'm going to have plastic surgery, I've tried everything else.
When I got pregnant with my first at 15 I weight 94 pounds, I delivered at 152, then I went back down to 100 pounds then at 17 I delivered at 155 pounds, with my third I went from 107 pounds to 160 pounds...and it only got worse from there. But with the first two sweetie, My skin tore...So I have I guess you call them stretch marks but they are more like scars and there is NOTHING that can be done about them. It is just something you have to live with. Mine are about an inch wide, and some of them run over a foot long and I have several of them than run across both my sides. So you are for sure not the only one. You just have to realize what a magnificent vessel your body had become, and look at your beautiful daughter, and ask yourself...what is she worth? If you answer anything and everything...Then realize that stretchmarks are nothing. Because you have this beautiful person who you brought into this world and nothing is more beautiful than that.

I had my son just after turning 18. He's 5 now. I was never really in shape to begin with but didnt have much fat or too any stretch marks until then and still have the marks. They faded after a few years of losing weight and eating healthier. Cocoa butter helps, even after. If you can get ahold of 'ReNew' from Melaluca (sp?) its a bit expensive but the bottle lasts forever and works great. My sister used it and no stretch marks now. Her son is one now.

In short, your not the only one with marks from a major life accomplishment. Its like getting a scar from falling off your bike the first time. It will fade and remind you of how great it was!
