Hey All,
It's going to be a beautiful weekend here in South Carolina which we haven't had much of this winter. Since it's going to be sunny and warm we are going to finish up a few things toward the wolf badge. We plan on walking through our neighborhood and picking up trash. We live on a dead end road and seems like everyone comes down this road to throw their trash out of their cars. There has been a sofa and chair once and even a toilet dumped on the side of the road. It bothers all of us down here because this is being dropped off by people who don't even live down here. And the recyclying center is only less than 5 minutes away!
We will also be grilling out with the help of our little helper. He has chosen hotdogs and wants salad to go with it. He also has to clean off the winter yuck off the patio table so we can enjoy every minute we can outside. Oh and he needs to work on that falling forward roll he just can't seem to do it. He's not a sporty kid!
I think after those couple things he only has a couple things left to do with his den for the flag.
Daddy has promised him a walk in the woods to find the perfect walking stick. He wants to start recording how many times we go on a hike and one of the dens last year had walking sticks and they marked them for every mile they walked. He can also take the camera on this walk to work toward the photography belt loop.
I'll have to scan through the book and belt loops to see what else we can cram into the coming weekend. Oh I know we might be able to squeeze in some time practicing his putt, chip, and drive. I know going to the golf course would be a winner with both the 8 year old and 16 year old.
Anyone else have anything planned? I did see someone say something about ice fishing......brrrrrrrrr make sure to take a lot of hot chocolate along with you. Can't wait to see pictures because that is something we won't get to do here.
