I've been using the Creative Memories Software to make my storybooks. Have others used a different piece of software?

I use http://www.PagesofaLifetime.com. There is no software, it is all online and there are over 60k pieces of art to choose from. It is much nicer to be able to use any computer I want and not have to buy each kit.

I use Photoshop Elements 7. I started with Photoshop Elements 4 about a year ago. I love digiscrapping. I don't know anything about the Creative Memories software so I can't really compare them, aside from saying that I love my software and find it very easy to use.

Doretha - after getting the software, the costs can really go down. There are so many fabulous freebies and freebie blogs (I can send you links if you want) that are great when you start out. Once I started to get a feel for things, I started purchasing kits. Now I am on the creative team for several designers so I'm lucky enough to play with their amazing products.

I work with Heritage Makers and the company is all online! No software, a basic account is FREE. We are in Oprah's All Time Favorite Things this year. The company is amazing! If you'd like to try it out and want a free account check out http://www.mystorybookdesigner.com.
I am a former CM consultant, I switched, I love how I can access my HM account from anywhere as long as I have internet access. You can also make cards, calendars, posters, canvas posters, decks of playing cards, single scrapbook pages, etc.

I've thought about digital scrapbooking. Is it easier and what are the costs involved?

I use CM software as well. I can't see any reason to use any other software but many people "graduate" to adobe elements when they get really good. My pages appear to have the same qualities (sometimes better in my opinon) as those made with the more expensive software so I don't see any reason to change even though I have it on my computer (elments 5).

Why do you ask? Are you unhappy with the software?

If you ever need a tip on where to find freebies - just ask. I am addicted to free digi stuff.

The only form of digital scrapbooking I've done is making a photobook on Snapfish when Oprah had the offer for a free one. I really really want to get the Creative Memories software though!
