hello, newbie here

I try to set reasonable goals for myself - 2 pages each week. I get most of my work done after my 4yo is in bed. It does help to have a designated space to work so you can make the most of your time - instead of dagging everything out and putting it back each time.
I have my scrapbook nook on my blog if that helps - it is not a very big space. http://www.scrappinmystressaway.blogspot...

I agree with Stacy's advice, I am maybe in the middle of organizing tons of stuff and already it is easier. Getting away is good, but I still have to learn what to pack. My girls are older, 15 and 18 and don't bother me too much, one wants to scrap with me sometimes. Good luck and find that space to enjoy, it helps you out stress-wise.

I am in the same boat. What I have done is to go away to Scrapbook weekends in the area where you stay and have at least 2 whole days of undivided scrapbooking time. Also, try to attend a crop at your local scrapbooking or craft store. Not sure where you live, but there are "Archiver's" all over. If you need to stay at home, I guess the only option is to do it after the kids go to bed, which is probably when you are trying to get other stuff done. What I would like to try myself is to set aside one day for myself to scrapbook and have my fiance keep track of our 2 year old. You may try the same. Good Luck!

I think we all stuggle with this! The first step is organization, once you have everything organized, then completing albums is easy! I've switched to digital also, it save me time and I don't have to drag out everything! If you are able to get away from the kids for a day, weekend, etc. workshops and crops are great also! I host these every month, and the girls I scrapbook with love them and always get so much accomplished! Good luck, and remember, there are lots of us out there to help you along the way with suggestions and ideas!
