ok how do you use these? Do you put them solid on the back of something? a line through the middle? one in each corner and one for center? Or what?

I was thinking of sort of staggering the squares? semi solid outline of the piece, with a few inside of that to keep it from collapsing?

I think I saw some foam sheets that were solid with a sticky back in another part of the store, are those better than these mounting squares?

TIA!

I usually put one in each corner and one in the middle (assuming 4x6 or smaller)-for larger I add a few more. Sounds like you are using PLENTLY! (remember the more you use the more costly-no need to use 4 if 2 will do it). I have albums that are over 14 years old and are still holding just fine.

Yeah I had one little one 2" x 3", I put a spaced line of 3 squares on each long side and two in the middle .

and one 4" x 3" I put 3 squares in 4 rows down it.

Now if I could just get the friggen tape off we'd be good!

I don't think that you will need to put as many on as you think. It really depends on how big the object is that you are working with. I made some cards with paper flowers on it. I layered them and wanted some to pop out. I just put one foam square on the back and it has been more than enough. Same with Scrapbooking layouts - it just depends what you are using them on, but I really don't think that you need to use too many. Maybe a few to outline & one in the middle if it's really big. Otherwise, I don't think you need that much.

I you are talking about foam mounting squares they are 3-d little foam pieces that are adhesive on both sides that add dimension to your project or you can use foam mounting tape, that comes in a roll and you can cut or tear pieces to your needs.

Good luck
