I have been using snapfish.com for almost eight years I think it is and I absolutely love them. The only thing I don't like is that the pictures don't come in order like when you ordered them. Otherwise, I'm not going to argue for 9 cents a print! I have sent in 35mm film too and they have turned out great too. Hope this helps!

I use the on line printing companies, I used snapfish for a long time and I just switched to Shutterfly. I like the glossy, haven't tried their matte finish. I like them but maybe my standards are not as high as yours? :). You get free printing when you sign up with them so you could try them out for just a few dollars in shipping and then if you don't like them no biggie!
I use scrapbookpictures.com. They are based in Oregon and charge $2 shipping/mailing. Their prices are so-so; however, they don't crop your photos like Costco or Walmart. When you upload a digital image and want a smaller size, they shrink the image, so you don't lose any of the picture. Also, they have various sizes, like 4x4, 3.5x5, true wallet sizes, 3x3, 2x2, etc., which are great for scrapbook pages. I use them exclusively and I usually get them back in a little less than a week. They have Matte, Metallic & Glossy finish options.

Shutterfly is great. But I tend to print my own here at home from my HP printer, that way I can print the sizes I want for my pages. I love their Satin finih paper. I am a photographer so I also get mine printed (when I have lots to print) from a professional service.
