How many of you guys make your own bows for your daughters??? I would like to do this and I just need to get started I guess but I have NO idea where to start or what to buy... its not exactly scrapbooking but I figure you ladies were all pretty crafty in general?

do you mean like a headband bow?
If so i would go to a sewing shop (or an imporium, they are cheap) and get yourself some good quality thread, and nice ribbons. If you want to buy a little headband/s then you wont have to make em, otherwise get some elastic and soft strechy fabric too.
Look up online for patterns and instructions, but it would be faily simple to do, just make a tube out of the fabric you bought to the desired length, (probably about a quarter again the circumferance of your little ones head, angling behind her ears and on top of her forehead) thread a length of elastic and sew the ends together, be careful not to make it too tight. For the bow take your ribbon, fold it into a bow shape without tying, secure with a few stiches, wrap another peice of ribbon around the centre and headband together and secure with some more stiches.
Thats what i would do......tho you might do well to look it up as i have never made a bow either! I have done sewing tho :)
