Soliciting is not allowed on Circle of Moms, and we have a zero tolerance policy.



This means no work-from-home recruitment pitches, no ads for dieting programs or personal businesses. Any posts containing solicitations will be deleted and the poster will receive a warning. If any poster continues to solicit in this community she will be blocked from future posting.



The following are considered solicitations and are not allowed on Circle of Moms:



- Work from home recruitment pitches

- Ads for your company or business. This includes but is not limited to dieting programs and books you have authored. It also includes promoting your website at the bottom of your posts.

- Requests for votes in a contest being held outside of Circle of Moms

- Requests for donations to a charitable cause

- Diaper discount codes

- Communities created to promote a member's product, service, or business opportunity. Please send us your business email address and we will notify you when we are ready to support this function.



Business solicitations on member's profile walls or in messages welcoming new member will also not be tolerated. If you receive a message on your wall that contains a business solicitation, please send me a PM with the member's name, a link to their profile and a copy of their message, and then delete it from your wall.



This is also a direct violation of CoM Terms of Service and Solicitation Policy.



Over the coming days, all solicitations already withing threads will be deleted from this community. We thank you for your co-operation.

Misty, people can still include links to other sites, that isn't a problem. However, IF that person has a vested interest in the website, it is considered a solicitation and is not welcome in this community.

I thought one of the points of a community like this was to be able to help others find information or places/websites they can get more information. I'm quite capable of ignoring or sifting through what I feel is crap and what I might want to know more about.

Use stuff normally not found in scrapbooks....like metal scraps, and glass found on the beach...there a special ways to form them so they are safe for handling and plus ur scrapbook will be GREEN

Great! I come here in search of advice and answer or ask questions, not to be annoyed with loads of ads, which you can already get anywhere you go on the intenet. Thanks

Dorothy...try creating the scrapbook from a different perspective. Do you have a dog? Let your dog tell the story. Or have each person in the family tell the story of their life...like an interview. If you have younger children, the way they tell it would be a precious memory all on its own! For larger families...do like a christmas exchange...draw name out of a hat and let that person put together a page for the name they drew. You can help younger, or less artistict ones put their ideas onto the page so it looks nice.

does anyone have any suggestions on how I can create my own scrapbook for my family. I want to be unique not like everyone else. when the ladies in relief society see it I don't want them saying I have this same thing. i want to make a one of a kind if you know what I mean?

Thanks! I am a scrapbook consultant, and I LOVE our products and would love to have chance to show every lady on here how great they are, but glad this Circle of Moms won't turn into a place to do business. I have seen sharing websites go downhill when business is brought in.

Sara, basically, this is not a place to promote your business. If you are offering genuine advice, just refrain from including an inference for people to contact you for more information, or any personal details (such as direct email or website). For instance (and this is just an example), if you are recommending a Creative Memories product because this is what you truly believe is the best product, you can provide a Creative Memories website, but you cannot include YOUR referral website because that is self promotion for YOUR business and is considered solicitation.

I've always been careful to just answer questions about CM but I recently had a post (?) deleted. Now I'm hesitate to even offer advice or help.
