Time to Get Busy

I am working on my scrapbook this morning -- I am putting in pictures of Summer of 2008. I'm a little behind. I make scrapbooks for both of my children. My goal is to get caught up by fall. I've never been caught up yet, so I don't know if it's a reasonable goal. I plan to get a job in the fall. I think it would be a good idea to order pictures in a small quanitity such as 30 and put them in the scrapbook, instead of waiting until I have 200 pictures to order which is what I always do. I also think it would be a good idea to be a little more selective when ordering photos. I don't need to capture every single moment in life. Just keep the very best pictures. It's hard to narrow it down though. What about you?

I used to be much better. I actually just ordered 300 pictures myself. I started digital albums, but still keep some albums traditional. I got out of habit of ordering. What I've decided to do is set time monthly to download, edit, and order pictures that I will need. This way, I will see what still needs to be done and will know where I stand.

As for selecting - that is always hard and very personal. I have customers who put every picture on a page (I find that too busy) and then I have customers who only put one picture on a page (I find that not enough). So, you have to find your happy medium. I am cutting back on what I feel I need to include and only putting the VERY best ones in it.
